We are a non-profit organization that has been established with the sole purpose of accommodating stray, unwanted and homeless cats and kittens and fostering them until such time that they are able to be re-homed permanently to caring loving new owners.
We are situated in Pretoria, Glenwood Street at the Glen Animal Clinic.
C.H.A.R.M - Caring Hearts Animal Rescue Mission
To make the world a better place for animals. To end the slaughter of
the homeless by addressing the problem at root cause i.e. by lobbying
for compulsory STERILISATION and LICENSE TO BREED and by actively
encouraging and supporting sterilisation of domestic animals to halt
indiscriminate breeding. We provide food and shelter for hundreds of
less fortunate dogs and cats within our area, and further a field when

Four Paws
To improve the quality of life of underprivileged animals. In our urban surroundings there are two main categories, namely squatter camp animals and feral cats.
Squatter Camp Animals: The main problem in these poor areas is that people simply do not have the means, transport or finances to provide their animals with basic health care and veterinary treatment. As a result, many animals suffer unnecessary. Overpopulation result in numbers, no community can sustain, and many animals die from starvation. We provide primary health care services, veterinary treatments and sterilisations, free of charge.
Feral Cats: We trap, sterilise and return feral cats in various places, to control the ever growing population. Ferals cannot be re-homed or relocated due to their nature and therefore the only proven way to deal with the feral problem is to trap, sterilise and return these cats. People in the area are encouraged to feed them to prevent malnutrition and the spreading of diseases.

FREE ME - Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
FreeMe is a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre for indigenous wildlife based in Paulshof in the North of Johannesburg.
Members of the public, SPCA's and local vets bring compromised indigenous wildlife to the Centre. It caters largely for birds as well as small mammals such as hedgehogs, mongooses, suricates, jackals, genet and smaller cat species. Antelope cases include duiker, springbok, and steenbok. Reptiles are also rescued and released. Once the animals have been treated and rehabilitated they are released back into a suitable wild habitat. FreeMe strives to promote a responsible attitude towards wildlife and the environment through educational programmes, newsletters, publicity and advice.
FreeMe is the largest wildlife rehabilitation centre in Gauteng and during the past few years our caseload has risen to over 6 000 cases annually. FreeMe is a non-profit, self-funding wildlife centre and relies solely on the generosity of the general public for their continuing support.
